The Celebrate Hyde Park series is sponsored by the Hyde Park Vitality Committee, a partnership between the University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement, the Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce and the South East Chicago Commission (SECC).

Food and Beverages

Hyde Park's 53rd Street is prime real estate for savory and sweet appetites. If you are looking for healthy or hearty food to tempt your tummy, then Celebrate Hyde Park is a great time to enjoy your favorite delights.

Since last year’s festival, 53rd Street now is boastful with burgers from Five Guys restaurant and sincerely sweet with Kilwin’s around the corner on Harper Ave. We always enjoy Ribs and Bibs on Dorchester Ave, Chant, Giordano’s pizza, and Clarke’s Diner.

Summer Music Festival-goers can enjoy the taste of our visiting vendors and food trucks.

On the North side of 53rd Street next to the stage you will find the beer and wine garden for adults (with legal id) over 21 years of age of course. With summer temperatures and sunshine galore, there’s no reason to go thirsty at the festival. Bottled water and non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the street.
