Monday, July 22, 2013

Gear up to explore one of Chicago's best-kept secrets, the Hyde Park neighborhood, with Bike and Roll Chicago's Blues, Bikes & BBQ Food Tour

You'll pedal your way through a beautiful part of the city saturated with culture, history, and music, while sampling some of the area's best food along the way.

Cruise by President Obama's residence. Take in the classical beauty of the Museum of Science and Industry, housed in the former Palace of Fine Arts, part of the landmark 1893 World's Columbian Exposition. Take in the tranquil beauty of another of the fair's original attractions, the Osaka Japanese Garden on Wooded Island in Jackson Park. You'll also ride over to Rockefeller Chapel, Frank Lloyd Wright's Robie House and the University of Chicago.

As you work up an appetite, you'll be sampling some of Hyde Park's best eateries. Then cap off the day with some homegrown Chicago blues music.
