Retail Therapy That Comforts You

Thursday, September 05, 2013

Comfort Me opened its Hyde Park store at 5241 S. Harper Ave in a temporary location adjacent to the new Hyatt Place hotel and across the street from the new Harper Theater and the sweet shoppe Kilwins.

Comfort Me, a family-owned boutique, embraces each customer with personal service, delivering a unique concept of retail therapy. Store offerings include women’s apparel and sleepwear in luxurious, soft fabrics and flattering fits, unique jewelry that incorporates vintage pieces, home and garden furnishings, and accessories that evoke the essence of comfort.

Joining more than a dozen new businesses opened or opening along the 53rd Street corridor, Comfort Me (Hyde Park) is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood.

“We are so excited to be a part of Hyde Park and think that we can provide a unique shopping experience. The community deserves some retail therapy!”
says Alyssa Thomas, co-owner of Comfort Me.

The strong growth in retail, restaurant and entertainment options in Hyde Park is the result of a joint effort among the community, the University of Chicago and the City of Chicago to bring new amenities and economic vitality to Hyde Park, which serves as a commercial hub for the South Side as well as a destination for visitors from around Chicago and the nation.
