Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Please Join Us for the Unveiling of the "Seeds of Our Culture" Mural at 64th and Dorchester
Please join us for the dedication of Seeds of Our Culture, the new mural under the East 64th Street and South Dorchester Avenue viaduct. We will celebrate our lead artists, Arlene Turner-Crawford and Rahmaan "Statik" Barnes, as well as the many project supporters, volunteers, and artist assistants who helped make this project a reality. Following the ceremony under the viaduct, there will be a reception with light refreshments at the William Hill Gallery, 6442 S. Dorchester Ave.

The Seeds of Our Culture mural project is co-sponsored by the William G. Hill Center for the Arts, University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement, South East Chicago Commission (SECC), and the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts.
