Breakfast at Daley’s with Alderman Willie B. Cochran- 8am – 10am

Daley’s

809 East 63rd Street, Chicago IL.

Daley’s Restaurant has been located at 809 East 63rd Street since 1892 and still thrives today as one of the best places in Woodlawn to have breakfast. Some of Chicago’s most legendary leaders have dined at this establishment, the late Mayor Harold Washington, the late Bishop Arthur M. Brazier and the list goes on and on. To continue in this tradition, Daley’s will host a breakfast with Alderman Willie B. Cochran of the 20th Ward.  Alderman Cochran is committed to supporting small businesses in Woodlawn. Through the collaborative efforts of Alderman Willie B. Cochran, the Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. (POAH), and the South East Chicago Commission (SECC) new street banners have been installed on Cottage Grove Avenue that represent the spirit of a vibrant community full of possibilities. Also thanks to this collaboration, holiday decorations have been installed on every street pole that has a new banner. These projects support local businesses and will help bring holiday cheer and spirit to the Woodlawn Community. Come enjoy breakfast at Daley’s, meet and greet Alderman Cochran affectionately known as “Willie B.”, and celebrate the rich history and traditions of Woodlawn on Small Business Saturday.  As a thank you for buying breakfast Daley’s will provide complimentary coffee with every breakfast.
