WBEZ Sheds Light on Economic Development in Hyde Park

WBEZ  and SECC’s Executive Director Wendy Walker Williams Talk Economic Development Live from Sir & Madame on E. 53rd Street

On a chilly Thursday afternoon Dec. 12, SECC’s Executive Director Wendy Walker Williams and University of Chicago’s  Jim Hennessey, Associate VP for Commercial Real Estate Operations, went  on air with WBEZ’s  the Afternoon Shift, broadcasting  live from a remote location at Sir and Madame in Hyde Park. Guests include Host of WHPK, Mario Smith; WBEZ South Side reporter, Natalie Moore; Executive and our very own 4th Ward Alderman William Burns.

The topic of the day centered on the 53rd Street and Hyde Park Economic and Community Development initiatives past, present and future.
