The South East Chicago Commission (SECC) is committed to securing the accuracy and privacy of your information.

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED
SECC uses this website to collect personal contact, directory, and affinity information. Any personal information collected is used to create a profile about you in our contacts database. When credit card transactions occur on this site, they are processed through secured sites. Your credit card information is used to process contributions to the SECC as well as other transactions such as registration fees for events. Your credit card information is not stored in the South East Chicago Commission system. The SECC currently uses PayPal to process these transactions. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information may be used to provide you with information about South East Chicago Commission activities, events and promotions. Your personal information may also be shared with other South East Chicago Commission departments and vendors for University of Chicago-related activities. When you choose to join programs such as an event, meeting, or volunteer efforts that are open to broader audiences, a limited amount of your contact information may be made available to participants in that program, again to facilitate contact among program participants.

South East Chicago Commission has some affinity partners, such as retailers, City agencies, and University of Chicago departments, who offer special promotions for neighbors, visitors and businesses within the South East Chicago Commission footprint. The SECC may share your information with these business partners in order that they may offer you their services or products, under contracts outlining safe data handling practices intended to protect privacy.

Your personal information will not be used for any commercial or philanthropic purpose not directly connected with or approved by the South East Chicago Commission. Unless we are required by law, or under a contract with a vendor to perform legitimate South East Chicago Commission business, your personal information will not be given, lent, or sold to any other individual or organization.

NON-PERSONAL DATA
