CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH FAMILY FUN IN NICHOLS PARK

4th on 53rd activities are presented by Nichols Park Advisory Council & Chicago Park District. 

“It’s going to be in-park, an afternoon of family fun consisting of activities that you’ll recognize from past park picnics and also a couple of new ones,”

Family activities will be located between 54th & 55th streets in Nichols Park.

Lawn Games: Hula Hoop Challenge! Madeline Ring Toss! Clown Bean Bag Toss! Croquet – big and little kid versions!  Little kid obstacle course including basketball hoop! Cornhole & kiddie beanbag toss! Hop Scotch & balance course!  

Activities: Bike decoration, a parade tradition, will be part of the day’s festivities! Magician John Measner will delight kids of all ages! Double Dutch jump rope by Black Girls Jump! Chess! Pony Rides! Music and stories with Mary Macaroni! Disc-golf sponsored by Hyde Park Disc Golf!

Music: Blues band Bryant & the Blues Kings.
