CHICAGO (May 2020) – Downtown Hyde Park Chicago/Special Service Area (SSA) #61 had to make a very tough decision this past week and announced that the 2020 Hyde Park Farmers Market, like several other major events, will be POSTPONED until spring of 2021.

The weekly market, which typically runs from June through October, would have been displaced from its usual spot because of Harper Court Phase II construction, but the ongoing pandemic rendered it impossible this year. We know that small businesses, like Farmers and Artisans, are hit hard during COVID-19. During this challenging time, we invite small businesses to schedule free business consultations so that we can help assist with various grants, emergency funds, and business planning.

Downtown Hyde Park Chicago/SSA #61 plans to explore opportunities to host a pop-up market later this summer/fall.
