QUALITY OF LIFE
HYDE PARK FARMERS MARKET
The South East Chicago Commission and Special Service Area #61 proudly present the Hyde Park Farmers Market, thanks to the partnership of Hyde Park Bank. The new market reveals an entirely fresh look with all new logistics, giving residents and visitors a chance to shop on the weekends and experience an infusion of healthy food, lifestyles, arts and culture.
Shoppers will find fresh produce from local Illinois farms, freshly baked breads and desserts, beautiful plants, packaged foods, personal beauty supplies, and traditional farmers market fare. Several market vendors accept Mastercard and Visa card payments in addition to cash.
The market complies with City of Chicago and State of Illinois pandemic protocols to provide a comfortable and safe shopping experience.
The Hyde Park Farmers Market:
- Each Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
- 54th Street and Old Lake Park Ave West (Hyde Park Bank parking lot)
The Market begins with the grand opening on Sunday, June 13 and the season continues through Sunday, September 26.
The Farmers Market will look and feel different for the 2021 Season. With pandemic protocols for safety, a new location, a new day of the week (SUNDAYS) and slightly different operating hours, the vendor and shopper experience will be unlike previous years.
This year the market will operate a shorter season from June 13 through September 26. The market is set to be a curated experience that is truly valuable addition to the community and area business owners. Brick and mortar businesses located in the SSA #61 footprint, previous vendors and brand new vendors are all encouraged to apply! LAUNCH THE VENDOR APPLICATION. Please note that the spaces are limited and vendors must prove to add product diversity to the market experience.
The market is fully supported by the SECC Staff and a dedicated farmers market manager for set up, vendor assistance, and customer service.
