For 2021, Hyde Park will usher in a brand new farmers market presented by the South East Chicago Commission in collaboration with Special Service Area #61. After a year hiatus due to the pandemic, the new market reveals an entirely fresh look with all new logistics, giving residents and visitors a chance to shop on the weekends and to experience an infusion of healthy food, lifestyles, arts and culture.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market will be held each Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at its new location on 54th Street and Old Lake Park Ave West in the Hyde Park Bank parking lot. In compliance with City of Chicago and State of Illinois pandemic protocols, appropriate measures have been taken to provide a comfortable and safe shopping experience.

Shoppers will find fresh produce from local Illinois farms, freshly baked breads and desserts, beautiful plants, packaged foods, personal beauty supplies, and traditional farmers market fare. Market vendors accept Mastercard, Visa, and LINK UP card payments in addition to cash.

The Hyde Park Farmers Market begins with the grand opening on Sunday, June 13 and the season continues through Sunday, September 26. Shoppers are invited to visit the hospitality desk to receive market swag and branded gifts from SECC and Downtown Hyde Park Chicago (while supplies last).
