Shopping locally, especially at small businesses, in our neighborhoods (1) helps maintain the diversity of stores on the mid-south side, (2) builds strong neighborhoods, (3) creates jobs, (4) provides funds for more City services through sales tax, and (5) promotes community development.

Shopping locally could also make you a winner of the 2021 Southside Shopping Spree! This year’s winner walks away with the Grand Prize of $500 in gift cards from participating businesses.
